Description Weyerhaeuser Tacoma Distribution Center is currently seeking a Forklift Operations Associate. Under the direction of the Site Operations Manager, Operations Supervisors and designated leaders, this position is responsible for all activities associated with the movement and handling of materials related to the wood products yard/warehouse. Our entry level pay rate starts at $22.25 per hour. ($1.00 differential for swing shift). This is a second shift position and the hours are 6:00pm-2:30pm. Overtime may be required based on operational needs. Training provided. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move or slide up to 100 pounds. Must be able work outside in the elements five days a week and occasional Saturdays depending on business needs. Ability to work on a computer. Ability to work cohesively in a team environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy. This position is designated by WY as a safety-sensitive position.
