Not for the faint of heart, this is manual labor at it finest so lets be honest about the job. If youre looking to cuddle horses, cats, dogs and goats all day, answer phones, sell jewelry, or be a social influencer, this probably isnt the position for you. Were looking for someone who is willing to work a flexible schedule, with occasional weekends plus some holidays, who enjoys physical work and loves working with the rescue animal population. This is a labor-intensive farm job that involves working in the heat, the cold, the wind, the rain, and the dirt. Youll be cleaning stalls, sweeping alley ways, working with our veterinarian and farriers, pulling weeds, maintaining and repairing fence and the property, brushing and grooming horses, feeding animals no less than 2 times a day, constantly filling water buckets, lifting 50+ pounds, and doing whatever needs to be done to keep the farm running.
