Jimmy John's Delivery Driver

This is for Michigan City, IN.

Starting rate for Delivery Driver is $12/hr while at the store, and $9/hr on the road.

With tips and mileage, you can be making $24 or more an hour.

Currently hiring part time and full time! (Updated 4/25/25)

Must be available Saturday 10a-4p, and Sunday 10a-4p.

Part time- either morning shifts 10-3, 11-2, or 11-7p. Or evenings 3-8p or 3-10p. (These hours may vary from time to time.)

Full time- evening shifts 3-10p (closing the store), with some 11-7p shifts. (These hours may vary from time to time.)

Must be available weekends.

Will be cross-training as in-store employee as well which starting rate is $14/hr.

Jimmy John's Delivery Driver's goal is to get that sandwich in the customer's hand as quick as can be. We do this by learning the most efficient route, double checking orders to ensure everything is accounted for, and hustling on our feet (while always being safe and law abiding while on the street). Drivers take home cash every day.

While not on the road, drivers will look after the dining room and bathroom. Making sure everything is clean and stocked. Delivery is a customer service job, so following customer's request and doing it with a smile can lead to more successful days.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 19 years old, or have a minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record
• Drive safe and obey the rules of the road
• Must keep vehicle in good repair inside and out
