Billing Specialist – Law Firm | Pittsburgh, PA | $50,000 - $65,000 DOE
LHH is assisting a respected Pittsburgh-based law firm is looking to add a Billing Specialist to their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and has prior law firm billing experience. The firm offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the potential for growth based on experience.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, review, and process client invoices, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with firm and client guidelines.Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing.Maintain billing records, adjust entries as needed, and follow established billing procedures.Handle electronic billing submissions and troubleshoot any e-billing system issues.Proactively track billing statuses, address client inquiries regarding invoices, and resolve outstanding billing concerns.Assist with monthly and year-end billing closeouts and generate necessary financial reports.Manage a high volume of billing transactions efficiently and with great attention to detail.Support additional billing-related tasks as assigned.Qualifications:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years of billing experience in a law firm setting.Proficient in legal billing and CRM systems such as Aderant, Elite, Clio, or similar platforms. Familiarity with e-billing portals and client-specific billing protocols.Strong math skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working under deadlines.Compensation & Benefits:Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000, based on experience.Comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for career advancement within a collaborative team.
